Des Kilfoil

Since retiring from CBC News Calgary and moving to Halifax in 2014, Des has been freelancing and also teaching TV journalism at King’s University. A former radio and TV reporter and producer for more than 30 years, Des also worked at the former Giant Mines gold mine in Yellowknife in the summer of 1975. He is married with two grown daughters and currently based in Nova Scotia.
