The Task Force is part of the UN Expert Group for Resource Classification and is chaired by experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna. It consists of high-ranking government and industry representatives from organisations such as the United States Geological Survey, Geoscience Australia, Center for Mineral Technology Brazil and Uranium Corporation of India Ltd, among others.

Over 100 companies, research and educational institutions from all over Europe have come together under the patronage of the European Union to form the EIT Raw Materials.
Essen, Germany, 23 April 2015. For the 13th time DMT is inviting specialists and decision makers from the mining and natural resources sector to discuss current developments in the raw materials industry. Around 300 participants are expected to attend the event at the Kongress Palais in Kassel, Germany, on 18th and 19th June 2015.
From 1st September 2014 IMC Group Consulting Ltd. (IMC GCL), the British subsidiary of DMT, will trade under the name “DMT Consulting Ltd”. Likewise as of 01.09.2014 the Essen based subsidiary IMC Montan Consulting GmbH will be renamed "DMT Consulting GmbH". Together with other companies in the DMT group, including their Indian sister "DMT Consulting Private Limited" which changed its name from IMC-SRG Consulting Private Limited at the end of July, they form DMT's "International Mining Consulting" division.
