The lithium mined is used in batteries for consumer electronics, electric bicycles, buses and passenger vehicles. It is also used in aerospace alloys, wind turbines, glass and ceramics.
EuroChem Group AG, a leading global fertilizer company headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, has selected Veolia Water Technologies’ proven HPD® crystallization technology for its VolgaKaliy Mine Expansion project in Russia’s Volgograd region.
