Circulation

MINING.com magazine will be circulated electronically worldwide to all InfoMine users, currently numbering approximately 60,000. Just about all major mining companies and suppliers worldwide use InfoMine. No other magazine has this level of circulation.

Hard copy versions will be circulated free-of charge to qualified subscribers both selected from existing InfoMine users and those who specifically subscribe to MINING.com online (see the “Subscribe” section of this website). We anticipate the distribution of approximately 20,000 copies per issue by the end of 2008.

Ad Production Work

Design, typesetting, camera and paste up services are available at cost plus 25%.

Agency Discount

A 15% commission is offered to recognized agencies providing full agency services.

Furnished Inserts

Earned rates for black and white full pages apply. Inserts of two or more pages are discounted at 50% of earned rate for the second and additional pages plus binding and colour charges.

Billing

Advertisements are billed on the date of issue. Tear sheets provided. Terms are net 30 days. A late payment charge of 1.5% is charged on overdue accounts.

Guidelines For Digital Advertising Files

Ads should be supplied as:
  • Quark Express
  • InDesign
  • PageMaker
  • PDF

PDF files should have high resolution images and fonts embedded. All files should include all resolution images and fonts. All files can be Macintosh or Windows. Colour images should be saved as CMYK, TIF or EPS files

  • Colour proofs must be supplied on all 4-colour ads.
  • Digital files compatible with our system are acceptable.

Page Reservations

Page reservations can be made for the outside back cover in full colour only. Inside covers may be reserved in full colour or in two extra standard or matched colours. Exceptions may be negotiated on an issue to issue basis.

Page Preference

Every effort will be made to position your ad in your preferred position or section of the magazine. Don't hesitate to state your preference.

General Advertising Conditions

Advertiser and advertising agency agree to the conditions covered herein.

Publisher shall be under no liability for errors in advertisements where composition or similar services are required.

Rates are subject to change without notice, but do not affect existing contracts.

Publisher not responsible for reproduction of colour advertisements unless progressively pulled proofs as specified are provided.

Ads may not be cancelled after reservation date. Ads will not be accepted after the closing date. When space is ordered and no instructions are received by closing date, previous copy will be repeated.

Advertisers agree to indemnify and save harmless InfoMine Inc., its officers, agents and employees from any claim or action on or arising out of any matter of any kind contained in such advertising.

Advertising content and editorial content are totally separate. No special editorial consideration of any kind shall be part of any sales agreement.
