A traditional owner of the site of Australia’s largest proposed coal mine has alleged in court that Indian miner Adani misled a tribunal that cleared the way for the mine.
The state government submitted an application to the federal government for 3mn m³ of dredging material to be disposed on land.
Adani now only needs to get the federal government green light on the same railway to have all required permits in place.
"The project's economics don't stack up," authors from the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis wrote.
