First Cobalt Corp. has drilled its deepest hole to date at the Iron Creek cobalt project.
The company says the refinery successfully leached 98% of the metal from the cobalt hydroxide with head grades in excess of 20% cobalt.
Refinery could be working in 1-to-2 years' time.
The blended company will have projects in Ontario and Idaho which, once in operations, could be major cobalt suppliers for EVs makers and high tech firms.
