Sylvania agree platinum joint venture in South Africa

Sylvania has entered into an agreement with Aquarius Platinum (South Africa), the world's fourth largest primary platinum producer, to assess the potential of the Everest North UG2 Platinum Deposit in South Africa. A Feasibility Committee has been formed to examine and update an existing feasibility study for processing of PGM bearing ore produced at Everest North. The two companies will be applying for a mining licence and a Joint Venture is to be formed.
