BRISBANE, Australia (July 5, 2013) – Coal seam gas specialists GeoGAS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of RungePincockMinarco (RPM) have announced that founders Ray Williams and Geoff Williams will be returning to take leadership roles within the company.
Ray Williams has joined GeoGAS as General Manager Consulting, where he will take responsibility for the strategic and technical direction of the consulting capabilities of the company. Ray is the developer of GeoGAS’ fast desorption test method and tools for gas reservoir definition, gas production and mine gas management.
Geoff Williams has been appointed as General Manager Laboratories and will focus on the integration of the laboratory and consulting processes.
RPM’s CEO Richard Mathews commented on the announcement, saying, “The return of Ray is significant. His pre-eminence in the field is unquestionable. These appointments are a key step in cementing GeoGAS’ reputation as forerunning experts in the gas consulting and testing industry.”
Speaking on his return, Ray Williams said, “I come back to GeoGAS in quite a challenging industry environment. My focus will be on delivering greater cost effective and targeted outcomes for clients and I am confident and keen to do just that.”
