About the role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Planning Supervisor, the Maintenance Planner, is responsible for providing detailed work plans in line with maintenance strategies and mine requirements that improve the efficiency and performance of the Maintenance Department.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You would be self-motivated and can collaborate well with a team. The ability to multitask, prioritize contending demands and remain flexible and organized in a fast-paced environment is vital for success.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Manage work backlogs for accuracy, while considering requirements related to parts, labor, permits, drawings, facilities, support equipment, special equipment, tooling, and instructions
- Maintain an accurate forecast that adheres to established maintenance strategies, while supporting best-in-class asset management strategies
- Assist with monthly cost forecasting, annual budgeting, and cost analysis
- Work regularly with maintainers to build or improve detailed work packages
- Track and report Key Performance Indicators, bringing forward continuous improvement opportunities
- Commission and decommission equipment, and manage their maintenance programs
Requirements:
- Journeyperson’s ticket, Degree, or Diploma in a related subject area, or a combination of relevant education and experience in mining or heavy industry
- Experience in a mobile maintenance environment or other relevant field
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite®, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
