We are looking for a
Goods & Services Analyst who will support several business units in the RTP Africa region. The purpose of this role will be to provide support to the
Goods & Services Specialist on management of categories, contracts and value delivery to Rio Tinto Business Units.
Reporting to the Manager Goods and Services, You will
- Handling and supporting projects and contracts including contributing to value delivery through the deployment of Best Practices, procurement tools and negotiation skills.
- Engaging, communicating, and influencing internal and external stakeholders at operational levels (Superintendent, Manager, Company representative).
- Providing analytical and commercial support to peers and Category Specialists.
What You’ll Bring
- 2-5 years’ experience in Procurement
- Degree or Diploma (Commerce, Legal, Technical)
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to engage
- Familiarity or an ability to quickly understand a variety of supply chain concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Computer literate on MS Word & Excel
- Experience working on SAP & Ariba systems
- Experience in working within a multi-cultural environment
- Project Management experience
