About The Role
Join Rio Tinto as the
Aluminium Value Chain Manager, where you be responsible for driving process optimisation through integrated planning, debottlenecking of the supply chain, and S&OP integration. The role will focus on increasing efficiency for the business, leading a high skilled team to provide guidance for optimised decisions in the Aluminium value chain, following the RTSPS mindset.
Reporting to the
General Manager Integrated Operations, within Rio Tinto Aluminium, you will;
- Lead a high skilled team to understand, support and make decisions that guide the best outcome for PacOps by leveraging the Aluminium Value Chain interfaces.
- Lead a 10-year asset plan program for PacOps region.
- Drive a long term PacOps operational plans, linking sustaining capital, business analysis and critical bottleneck issues to justification, to define recommendations for decisions.
- Lead data and reporting team for PacOps from mine to smelter, building data capability as an asset for PacOps.
- Drive integrated planning processes across PacOps operations, ensuring alignment with various sites, stakeholders, ensuring alignment with capital and annual planning processes to maximise strategic business value.
- Drive improved operational stability through efficiency and improvement projects, linked to the supply chain from mines to smelters.
- Work with Commercial, functional and operational teams to identify and realise opportunities across the value chain.
- Align work to Rio Tinto Safe Production Systems practices to become Best Operator
About You
- 10+ years of experience in Value Chain roles and leading teams
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the commodities industry, with a focus on value chain management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading integrated planning and supply chain optimization projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Experience with S&OP integration and debottlenecking initiatives.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in complex industrial environment and supply chain management.

- Collaboration Ability to work with multiskilled teams and collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve common goals.
