About the role:
Reporting to the Processing General Supervisor, the Processing Supervisor is responsible for managing an hourly crew at the coal processing plant to meet safe production objectives in an efficient manner. The schedule for this position follows a 4x4 schedule rotation of two day and two night shifts.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who enjoys collaborating with multiple teams and personnel at all levels of the organization. This person would demonstrate strong technical skills and professional integrity as they work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Supervisory skills and the ability to multitask would be vital for success.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Lead and implement safety, mine, and environmental regulations in a manner consistent with policies and procedures
- Lead and empower individuals in achieving operating targets and expectations, while maximizing employee performance through coaching and feedback
- Supervise all aspects of the coal processing plant to meet safety, quality and production targets
- Coordinate and prioritize the activities interconnected with process operations teams to meet safety, efficiency, and quality production targets
- Monitor tailings ponds and lead or conduct daily inspections
- Coordinate train allocation with logistics team
- Work closely with the Outside Supervisor to maintain environmental compliance
Requirements:
- Must possess or be able to obtain an HSRC supervisory ticket
- Technical diploma would be considered an asset
- Minimum two year's experience supervising an hourly workforce, ideally within a processing plant facility. Experience in the mining industry or a similar field is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite® (Excel, Word, Outlook)

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
