Position: Manager, IT Audit
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic Contribution
- Contribute to and execute the approved Internal Audit strategy to meet business objectives.
- Develop the IT Audit Strategy and Business Plan and obtain approval from the Chief Audit Executive to check on security protocols and processes and ensure IT governance.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Lead the development and implementation of IT audit policies, processes, procedures, controls, and standards to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to the review, and approval of all IT audit policies, procedures, and standards to meet changing requirements and the future needs of the businesses.
Leadership
- Develop and execute integrated organization and manpower plans to support the accomplishment of resourcing plans including the recruitment, training, and development of multi-cultural staff.
Performance Management
- Subject to agreed criteria, recruitment, and training, set action and targets, appraise, and manage performance, develop, coach, and provide general support to team members to ensure productivity and engagement.
Reporting
- Oversee the preparation of concise reports to the Chief Audit Executive presenting any key IT audit findings, potential business risks, as well as relevant action plans on mitigation and prevention.
- Drive the preparation of all IT audit reports in a timeous and accurate manner to meet statutory requirements, organizational needs, policies, and quality standards.
Technology Audit
- Examine internal Technology controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, and determine exposure to risk to develop remediation strategies.
- Assess the planning and implementing of Technology.
- Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations to conduct efficient and effective audit procedures.
Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate existing methodologies to determine current capability and propose prospective improvements for IT Audit.
Skills and Competencies:
Technical / Functional:
- Thorough knowledge of the best IT audit standards and practices.
- Experience with infrastructure/platforms, security, networks and applications
- Financial and IT application experience
- Clear understanding of IT audit methodologies.
Leadership:
- Fostering discipline and managing employee relationships.
- Managing people performance.
- Leading and facilitating digitalization within the function.
- Facilitate to establish Ma'aden as 3rd pillar of KSA economy.
Safety:
- Expert knowledge of applicable HSE legislation and regulations and its practical implications.
- Concern for employee wellbeing.
- Ability to foster a safety culture.
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology/computer information, or any other related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT Internal Audit (preferably in the mining / minerals / industrial industry).
- At least 6 years in a Managerial role in IT audit in a progressive organization.
