About the role:
Reporting to the Processing Maintenance General Supervisor, the Supervisor, Maintenance Processing is responsible for managing both monthly and annual outages at the coal processing plant to meet safe production objectives in an efficient manner. This position follows a 4x3 schedule of 10-hour days

This person would demonstrate strong technical skills and professional integrity as they work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Supervisory skills and the ability to multitask are vital for success.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Oversee quality maintenance and repair of plant equipment to improve availability and reliability for production
- Have direct ownership and management of the plant shutdowns including the monthly and annual outages
- Work closely with the shutdown planner to ensure alignment of tasks including contractor tasks
- Complete Shutdown job walkdowns and pre meetings with contractors
- Be responsible for contractor performance during outages including feedback meetings focused on continuous improvement
- Manage shutdown SICs and Key Performance Indicators, such as schedule compliance and First Down After PM
- Shutdown work order management including controlling break-in and completion of work and follow-up
- Develop shutdown commissioning and start-up plan
Requirements:
- Journeyperson ticket, related technical diploma, or engineering degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five or more years experience in maintenance and maintenance reliability in an industrial environment
- Minimum one year experience supervising or leading a team
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting quality assurance programs
- Strong digital literacy and proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite®
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
