About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join a leading global energy solutions provider at the forefront of high-voltage infrastructure and grid integration projects. You will play a key role in engineering complex systems that power industries, cities, and transport networks across Europe and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for high-voltage and medium-voltage substations, including HVDC and FACTS solutions.
- Contribute to grid integration, renewable energy transmission, and electrification projects.
- Perform technical calculations, equipment selection, and create detailed engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, system designers, and site engineers.
- Ensure compliance with national and international standards (IEC, DIN, VDE, etc.) and client-specific specifications.
- Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Provide technical input to procurement and contribute to project planning and execution.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (BSc or MSc).
- 3+ years of relevant experience in electrical design or power systems engineering.
- Knowledge of high-voltage equipment (transformers, switchgear, protection systems).
- Familiarity with grid codes, protection relay coordination, and SCADA integration.
- Proficient in engineering tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or similar.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and internationally when needed.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in EPC projects or large-scale grid modernization.
- Knowledge of HVDC systems, control systems, or renewable integration.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
