This is a great opportunity for talented people who can develop as a Finance Manager Junior for our office in Casablanca, Morocco.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Establish appropriate financial policies and procedures to support company goals and mitigate all financial risks
- Implement all SQM policies and procedures, specially the ones related to operations such as credit controls and approved delegation of authority matrix
- Establish the SQM COA respecting local regulations if any and prepare the Financial reporting pack for Consolidation as per approved formats and deadlines
- Prepare the financial, accounting reports and statements as required by local legal requirements, tax compliances and FX control regulations.
- Lead the annual budgeting process as per HQ formats and deadlines . Analyse and report on budget variances
- Maintain oversight of day to day financial transactions including receivables, payables, cash flow management, banking operations etc.
- Responsible for SOX compliance and assist in the internal and financial audits and take corrective actions in a timely manner
- Manage all relevant HR tasks and administrative support in relation to hiring, firing, evaluations, promotions, compensation review etc as per Chile HR instructions and in coordination with service provider.
- Receive and retain employee files in accordance with SQM guidelines and respecting local laws and to maintain confidentiality in all employee matters.
- Oversee aspects of employee services such as leave administration and management of all statutroy benefits such as PF, ESI etc.
- Provide administrative support for the business & regualatory affairs [issuance & renewals of licenses, lease, issuance / renewals, business travel etc.]
- Additional responsibilities may be added from time to time depending on organisational requirements.
- Providing financial analysis and support for decision-making processes.
THE SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or CA) is preferred.
- 5 years of work experience in accounting or finance.
- Familiar with SAP S4 HANA.
- Communication skills in English.
