Electrical QAQC Engineer - Europe
We are seeking a dedicated QA/QC Engineer to join our team and ensure top-notch quality standards in our construction and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in improving quality assurance and control procedures, ensuring compliance with company protocols, project specifications, and industry regulations.
Role Overview:
Earthstream is seeking a Quality Engineer to support project quality assurance activities across Ireland and mainland Europe. The role involves maintaining project documentation, overseeing testing and inspections, and ensuring all work meets quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update project databases and handover documentation.
- Review installations, benchmarks, and test packs using quality management software.
- Liaise with construction teams on handover schedules, snag lists, and walkdowns.
- Conduct site inspections and oversee subcontractor and third-party quality performance.
- Attend quality meetings and report on QA progress and issues.
- Travel to project sites across Ireland and Europe as required.
Skills & Requirements:
- Relevant electrical or quality qualification (electrical trade background advantageous).
- 1+ year of experience in a similar QA/QC role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with quality software desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English essential.
