About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive
Executive Assistant to join Rio Tinto Projects, supporting a Senior Executive within the business.
You’ll ensure smooth day-to-day operations, helping to manage time, priorities, and information flow. You’ll be a trusted partner; someone who can anticipate needs, provide feedback, and ensure priorities are actioned and followed through.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing calendars, travel, meetings, and correspondence with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Acting as a gatekeeper and time manager, ensuring the right focus is placed on the right priorities
- Supporting monthly reporting, cost centre management, and internal communications
- Working closely with the Safe Production Systems (SPS) team to maintain central routines and calendars
- Helping to streamline information management across SharePoint and internal platforms
- Raising and tracking service requests (e.g. ServiceNow), purchase orders (SAP), and other admin processes
- Supporting the rhythm of the business, ensuring cadences are clear and well-supported
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced in supporting senior executives in complex, fast-paced environments
- Diplomatic and solutions-focused, with strong judgement and the confidence to provide feedback
- Organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive mindset and ability to manage competing priorities
- Tech-savvy, with working knowledge of SharePoint, SAP, and Microsoft 365
- Collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in helping others succeed
