Job Description
Penny is an underground gold mine near Mt Magnet where Redpath has had a presence for over 3 years ad a contract that may get extended beyond 2026. Currently we are in look for a Service crew to help us carry out underground activities regarding Ventilation, Electrical reticulation, water pump and material transport in and out of the mine.
Responsibilities
- install and remove ventilation ducting;
- hang and remove ventilation fans;
- install water, air, and pump reticulation pipes;
- install electrical reticulation;
- build ventilation devices;
- install and remove pumps and pumping stations;
- operate the Integrated Tool (IT) carrier;
- transport fuel and materials as required; and
- assist the charge up crew.
Qualifications
- previous experience in an underground service crew role is required.
- valid manual drivers licence;
- ability to hold and maintain a police clearance certificate; and
- good verbal and written communication skills.
- A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.
