We are seeking a highly motivated Office Manager to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who can assume independent responsibility for finance, accounting, regulatory, legal, tax, compliance and administrative functions in our Manila office, working in close liaison with the finance/accounting and other corporate teams in head office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving as the central point of contact for Head Office and Corporate functions with respect to all matters relating to the office and to support the local team for the day-to-day management of the office.
- Accounting & Tax:
- Managing the local accounting process in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP including monthly and yearly closing, Group IFRS reporting, tax reporting, statutory reporting
- Overseeing of all tax matters, tax fillings & tax reporting (Corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, local residence tax etc)
- Annual transfer pricing study update
- Responsible for annual budgeting process
- Compliance:
- Acting as local compliance coordinator
- Rolling out global compliance policy & guidelines & adopting local procedures
- Handle of corporate secretarial matters, regulatory reporting and fillings
- Administrative, IT & Other:
- General administration related to the Office Manager role, including procurement of office supplies, IT maintenance, lease renewals and other administrative aspects as necessary
- Main point of contact for IT issues, hardware maintenance etc
- Add Hoc HR support to Global Payroll team & Group HR services
Qualification:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Tax filing experience
- 5+ years of post-qualification working experience
- Working experience in CPA firm and/or multi-national company is preferred
- Knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules
- Experience with Analysis for Office and Power BI are an asset
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
