Director – Data Center Projects

A leading international engineering organisation within the high-voltage and mission-critical infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Director to lead Data Center projects across Germany. This is a senior strategic role shaping the delivery of complex, large-scale data center developments in a rapidly expanding market.
What you’ll lead
- Strategic oversight of all data center projects within the German region
- Leadership of multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teams
- High-level client engagement with major hyperscale and colocation partners
- Driving excellence across design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover
- Commercial and operational accountability for project performance, budgeting, and forecasting
- Contributing to wider regional growth and organisational strategy
What we’re looking for
- Fluent German speaker (essential)
- Proven leadership experience in data center construction, engineering, or mission-critical infrastructure
- Strong understanding of high-voltage (HV/MV) or electrical engineering environments
- Executive-level communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on delivery levels in a scaling environment
