Superintendent
Earthstream are currently looking for a Superintendent to be responsible for overseeing and managing dredging operations for a project in the middle east
Key responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of the project
- Manage and supervise dredging crews, including operators, technicians, and laborers
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations, including minimizing the impact on local ecosystems
- Monitor the quality of the dredging work, ensuring that it meets the project specifications and standards
- Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of dredging equipment, such as dredgers, barges, and support vessels
- Address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders, ensuring smooth relations and continued project approval
Requirements (but not limited to):
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Extensive Experience in dredging or marine construction projects
- Strong team leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team, including engineers, laborers, subcontractors, and safety officers
- Knowledge of dredging project software tools
- Familiarity with Safety Standards
