At Ernest Henry, you can choose what suits your priorities. Work an attractive fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) roster from Townsville and Cairns or a drive-in/drive-out (DIDO) roster and take advantage of our top-class camp, or live local in the close-knit community of Cloncurry and be home every night.
This roster is 8/6 and a 12-hour day.

About the Role
At Ernest Henry, accurate data drives safety and production. We need reliable systems to keep our maintenance teams efficient and compliant. That’s where you come in. You will own the integrity of our asset management systems. You won’t just manage files; you will ensure our Electrical, Mechanical, and Mobile Maintenance teams have the right information at the right time.
Your key responsibilities:
- Control the documentation. You’ll keep technical drawings, manuals, and procedures up to date and site-compliant.
- Manage the registers. You’ll maintain equipment inventories and schedules to ensure data is consistent across all systems.
- Ensure accuracy. You’ll run regular audits to catch discrepancies before they become problems.
- Deliver insights. You’ll turn raw data into clear reports and dashboards that help us track performance and efficiency.
- Support the users. You’ll manage access, enter data, and troubleshoot issues for our asset management software (e.g., CMMS).
- Keep us organized. You’ll coordinate meetings and training sessions to keep the team aligned.
About You
You thrive on order and detail. You understand that in a technical environment, data accuracy isn’t optional—it’s essential.
You bring:
- Experience in document control or systems administration in a mining or technical setting.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and asset management software like Pronto.
- A sharp eye for detail. You spot errors others miss.
- Strong organizational skills. You can juggle multiple tasks and deadlines without dropping the ball.
- A collaborative spirit. You communicate clearly with everyone from Engineers to Technicians.
