Job Purpose
- As an integral member of the project leadership team, support the Project Manager in providing insights that contribute to the strategic direction for the successful execution of the projects.
- Stand-in for Project Manager when required.
- Responsible for ensuring effective coordination of project activities with various teams.
- Support Project Manager in defining key deliverables and their timing to achieve project completion.
- Steward project performance measures (safety, quality, cost, schedule and operability, etc.).
- Work with SH&E, Planning & Controls, and Quality disciplines to ensure project expectations are understood and necessary plans are in place.
- Support Project Manager in effective management of interfaces and coordination across various functions and other projects.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and oversight of Project Leads during the execution phase of the project.
- Interface with stakeholders for participation in various project meetings/workshops i.e. HAZOP, Model Reviews, Factory Acceptance Testing, etc.
- Liaise with Operations in coordinating shutdown planning, site access during construction and SIMOPS activities.

Expected:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in project management and the execution of oil and gas projects
- Leadership role (Portfolio Manager or Project Manager) for medium or large projects ($ 500M and above)
Skill
- Strong Engineering background in oil and gas industry
- Communicates effectively and has strong written and verbal communication skills
- A history of working in a complex cross-functional business environment
- Familiarization with dispute resolution procedures and administration
- Proactive identification of internal and external business risks and dispute resolutions without adverse impact to project progress and completion.
- Effective business relationship with all stakeholders
