Our Opportunity

Work Location: Eliwana on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.

Roster: 4D/3R - FIFO ex Perth – Full Time

We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in powering the future of mining operations

Key Responsibilities

Provide input to the capital projects process, such as developing capital request submissions for electrical projects.
Development of RFI and Scope of works for the tender documentations.
Assist in the management of all variation/TQ/RFI and action registers.
Review and coordination of electrical designs, procurement, construction management, testing and commissioning.
Attend and signoff FAT and witness testing activities.
Manage and support all electrical construction and commissioning
Inspect/QA/QC electrical works, test sheets and signoff ITPs and ITRs at completion of works
Assist with the interface between engineering team members, construction team members, sub-contractors and key stakeholders to provide solutions and support successful delivery of projects
Assist with project supervision coverage if required to monitor contractor performance and compliance to HSE, quality, legislative and audit requirements

Qualifications and Experience

Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or highly experienced Electrical Technician
Minimum of 5 years’ experience, with Project experience within the resources industry across non-process and process infrastructure assets. Construction experience will be favourable.
Supervisory experience with S26 qualifications will be desirable.
Demonstrated experience working with power systems, VSDs, protection relays, PLCs, motor controllers (i.e siemens simocode) and various instrumentations (ideal)
Proficient with Design software (i.e AutoCAD)
Experience with plant ramp-up, commissioning and troubleshooting
Demonstrated competency in use of SAP.
