Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Inventory Database General Supervisor, you will be part of the Procurement Department. You will be responsible for performing all aspects of cataloguing parts management in the Company’s Item Master. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Responsible for the disciplined collection, storage, processing, formatting and presentation of item master information within the Companies ERP system;
- Will follow Master Data Management standards and set up parts in a clear and precise descriptive manner with appropriate classifications, part numbers, specifications and other data elements that enables the Company to effectively manage inventory and conduct sourcing exercises;
- Manage a disciplined catalogue management system;
- Provide expert Cataloguing advice to ensure catalogue information is accurate, complete and easily accessed by all Operational persons;
- Ensure catalogue information is easily accessed and readily available to all persons requiring this information to help support their work activities;
- Utilize enhanced analytical tools to assist with catalogue cleansing, generate regular reports on catalogue improvement initiative programs;
- Provide a mechanism that involves the disciplined identification of material used in the company’s operations so that it can be located, sorted, and reviewed by users and by management;
- Ensures that all inventory forms are signed and completed according to the procedures.
What You Need To Succeed
- Post Secondary Degree in Business, Document Control, Data Analysis or Supply Chain Diploma, and/or appropriate work experience;
- Experience in an industrial setting or heavy industry (mining experience is considered an asset);
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint;
- Bilingual (French or Spanish) is considered an asset.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Timmins Regional Office or one of our satellite offices in Sudbury, or Kirkland Lake, ON;
- This role is eligible for the Ontario Regional Teleworking Policy.
- 10% travel to other Agnico Eagle offices or mine sites.
