About The Role
We are looking for a
Supervisor Electrical to join our Pilbara Mine Operations, to influence and drive positive leadership to our dynamic teams of electrical maintainers, enabling them to meet safe productivity, cost, and quality requirements to achieve targets within our operations.

Reporting to the
Superintendent Fixed Plant, you will
- Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance, encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto best practices Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team
- Ensure all statutory testing and maintenance is carried out and recorded
- Manage Fixed Plant Electrical activities to maximise productivity while minimising cost and environmental impact
- Define staffing and development needs of the Fixed Plant Electrical team 13. Ensure compliance to relative legislation, including maintaining statutory electrical inspections and records as required by WHS
- Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders to align on operational plans and strategies
- Participate in the preparation of accurate weekly reports and assigning tasks to team members
- Managing the day-to-day operations through SAP
- Championing continuous improvement by identifying and implementing changes to optimise work practices and provide technical solutions to improve plant performance
What You’ll Bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Leadership experience and confident in leading, developing and coaching team members
- Experience in electrical fixed plant maintenance
- Demonstrated ability in meeting targets and bringing the team on a journey of continuous development
- WA A grade electrical license and High Voltage Switching Ticket
- Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
- Statutory Position Legal Exam – Statutory Supervisor
- A current Australian C-Class driver's license
