About The Role
We are actively seeking for 2
Mobile Maintenance Dispatcher to join the Côté Gold Mine Site, reporting to the Senior Supervisor, Mine Maintenance. This role provides
front‑line supervisory support in coordinating mobile maintenance activities, ensuring safe, timely, and effective execution of work. Working closely with Mine Operations, the Control Room, and maintenance leadership, the Dispatcher offers
real‑time oversight of equipment status, task prioritization, workforce direction, and accurate equipment coding and reporting through MineStar.
The role plays a key part in supporting asset availability and reliability by managing maintenance calls from the pit, reviewing event and VIMS data, assigning technicians, creating backlog notifications for planned work, and ensuring strong shift‑to‑shift communication and reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a strong safety culture by following and enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting field observations, and assisting in incident investigations.
- Provide shift‑level supervisory coordination, ensuring clear communication between Maintenance, Mine Operations, and the Control Room, and maintaining accurate equipment and shift logs.
- Direct and coordinate mobile maintenance execution, assigning technicians and resources to meet operational priorities while minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment availability.
- Monitor MineStar for VIMS codes and dispatch technicians or create maintenance notifications to be addressed during planned intervals.
- Ensure accurate equipment time‑use coding in MineStar, including reviewing and reconciling coding from the previous shift to align with the time‑use model.
- Support operational readiness by ensuring the right resources, tooling, and information are available for maintenance work to be completed safely and effectively.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability efforts by monitoring maintenance KPIs, identifying operational trends, and supporting actions that improve safety, productivity, and cost performance.
- Collaborate across functions with Maintenance, Operations, and Planning to enable consistent, reliable execution and alignment with business objectives.
Job Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge:
- College diploma in heavy equipment technician or another related field.
- Red Seal Certificate of Qualification in Ontario is preferred.
- 7 or more years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Previous exposure to Cat MineStar, mobile mining equipment, and Epiroc drills considered an asset.
- Strong digital literacy and experience with fleet management systems is required.
Relevant Experience
- 7+ years as a Heavy Equipment Technician.
- 1+ year of leadership, supervisory, or coordination experience within maintenance or operations.
