Qualifications
Recently graduated in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Ability to function and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., JDE Oracle) is an advantage.
Knowledge & Experience
Internships or academic projects related to logistics, procurement, or supply chain are a plus but not required.
Basic understanding of purchasing processes, logistics flows, and supplier management.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Monitor and follow up on all open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
Communicate proactively with suppliers to confirm delivery dates, expedite delays, and resolve supply issues.
Update delivery status and expediting notes in the ERP system (JDE or equivalent).
Review and address OS&D (Overages, Shortages, and Damages) inquiries with suppliers.
Coordinate logistics requirements with Warehousing, End Users, and Procurement teams.
Track and escalate critical or overdue orders to supervisors and relevant internal stakeholders.
Assist in preparing reports related to expediting performance, supplier responsiveness, and delivery KPIs.
First Quantum Minerals has initiated a focused recruitment process in Panama to support activities related to the Preservation and Safe Management (PSM) program, as well as the processing of previously extracted and stored stockpiled material.
