Offshore HVAC Technician
We are seeking an experienced Offshore HVAC Technician to support installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities on offshore energy infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring HVAC systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with offshore regulations and technical standards.
This role involves working in a dynamic offshore environment alongside multidisciplinary teams during planned maintenance and operational support campaigns. Initial rotation is 2 weeks with the start date on the 13th of April.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of offshore HVAC systems.
- Support commissioning and functional testing of ventilation and climate control systems.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults within HVAC equipment.
- Ensure all systems operate in accordance with technical specifications and safety requirements.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Complete technical reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
- Work closely with offshore operations, electrical, and mechanical teams to ensure system reliability.
- Adhere strictly to offshore HSE procedures and permit-to-work systems.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience working as an HVAC Technician in offshore or marine environments.
- Strong knowledge of industrial HVAC systems, ventilation units, chillers, and air handling systems.
- Experience with fault finding, maintenance, and system diagnostics.
- Ability to work independently in offshore rotational assignments.
- Strong understanding of offshore safety practices and procedures.

- Valid GWO certification suite:
- Working at Height (valid >1 year)
- Fire Awareness
- Sea Survival
- Enhanced First Aid
- Manual Handling
- Valid OEUK Medical
- HUET or BOSIET certification
Contract Details
- Offshore rotational assignment
- Short-term campaign with potential extensions based on performance and operational requirements
- Day rate contract
- Candidate responsible for travel arrangements
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience on offshore substations, platforms, or energy infrastructure projects.
- HVAC commissioning experience within industrial or energy environments.
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
