Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Transit Systems Consultant to join our North American Infrastructure group to support work in the Northeast US region. In this role, the ideal candidate is Transit System specialist with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Candidates must have knowledge of core Transit System concepts and have a minimum of 1 year of professional systems experience. Experience working in the Automated Fare Payment ecosystem is preferred.
As the successful candidate, you will:

Prepare technical briefs, presentations and reports that identify work progress, defects/non-conformances, and areas of concern.

Basic knowledge of Transit systems such as fare payment technologies, GIS, GPS location, CAD/AVL, Mobity as a Service (MaaS), wayfinding, GTFS and open data standards

Demonstrate strong organizational skills, work well within a team, self-starter, take direction from other senior staff members, be able to multi-task on a variety of work assignments, and meet deadlines.

Compensation range depends on education, major, and experience. For ideal candidates, the compensation range can be $75,000 - $90,000 annually.
