About The Role
We are looking for a Supervisor to lead a team of 12 process operators within our Carbon Products Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic leader looking to grow their leadership capability or an experienced leader seeking a new challenge in a different operational environment.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading, organising, developing and motivating the team to safely achieve shift targets
- Providing visible and tangible safety leadership and embedding a strong safety culture
- Driving improvement across Health and Safety fundamentals including pre‑starts, hazard identification, Critical Risk Management (CRM), leadership in the field and incident investigation
- Coaching team members on safety expectations and standards of work
- Managing team performance using Rio Tinto HR systems and consequence management guidelines
About You

- Strong communication skills with the ability to have courageous conversations
- Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively
- Collaborative leadership style with a desire to work across teams
- Understanding of operational environments with a willingness to learn
