Your Role
Based in the Montréal office, you will be responsible for:
Leading a structural design team on multidisciplinary projects.
Applying advanced engineering knowledge and tools to solve complex engineering challenges.
Leading, mentoring, supporting, and guiding project resources (engineers and technicians).
Advising management and collaborating with other disciplines.
Preparing proposals and contributing to business development, including publications and conference participation.
Preparing structural designs and assessments, as well as contract documentation, in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and manuals.
Providing construction support and conducting site visits as required during ongoing construction projects.
Supervising the work of engineers and technicians.
Assisting project managers.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ideally with a specialization in structural engineering).
Proficient in structural design software used for bridges and civil structures in Québec (SAP2000, Advanced Design America, CSIBridge, MIDAS, or SAFI), as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
More than 10 years of experience in the analysis and design of various types of bridges and transportation structures; experience in railway structures is an asset.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects of varying complexity, bridge types, and scale.
Strong knowledge of the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CSA S6) and the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) Code.
Able to communicate in French, both verbally and in writing.
