Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Superintendent, you will be part of the Human Resources Department and will ensure that the recruitment goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Supervise, mentor, motivate talent acquisition team members.
- Closely follow recruitment targets and ensure their deliverables.
- Ensure good communication within the team to promote collaboration and quick problem-solving.
- Assign roles to Talent Acquisition Specialists based on their workload and expertise.
- Provide regular guidance and coaching to foster the growth and professional development of team members.
- Coordinate the follow-up processes for performance evaluations and training.
- Liaise with various upper-level management stakeholders in the organization.
- Actively participate in and provide input for recruitment strategies.
- Participate in weekly meetings with assigned divisions for updates on files.
- Manage some recruitment files when workload permits.
- Support the organization in a rapidly changing business environment.
- Lead and manage various team projects aimed at continuous improvement.
- Fill in for the Superintendent as needed.
- Perform other tasks as required.
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or other related field;
- 5-8 years of experience in Recruitment or Human Resources;
- Experience in Supervision;
- Knowledge of the mining industry considered a strong asset.
Your Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, ideally the person will be based in Northen Ontario and will need to travel regularly to all sites in Ontario.
