About the Role A leading international construction and engineering contractor is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor to support major data centre construction projects in Belgium.
Working closely with Project Managers and the wider EHS team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, responsibly, and in full compliance with statutory requirements. You’ll be hands-on across site activities, helping to embed a proactive safety culture while supporting high standards of environmental and occupational safety performance.

Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation of the company’s EHS policies to prevent injury, ill health, environmental harm, and damage
- Promote a proactive safety culture across construction sites
- Ensure compliance with local and statutory EHS requirements
- Carry out regular site safety inspections, audits, and reporting
- Track and ensure close‑out of corrective actions within agreed timescales
- Support accident and incident investigations, including reporting and follow-up actions
- Ensure all site operatives and subcontractors receive appropriate inductions
- Monitor welfare facilities, site setup, and statutory notice displays
- Review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for suitability
- Ensure permit-to-work systems are correctly implemented
- Monitor COSHH compliance and environmental protection measures
Key Requirements- Relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
- Proven EHS experience within construction environments
- Knowledge of statutory health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and investigations
- Confident working with project teams and site management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work across live, fast-track construction sites
