About the Role
As an Exploration Geologist at Cowal, you will support the delivery of high impact exploration programs focused on discovering and defining new gold resources. Working within a collaborative Discovery team, you will contribute to target generation, drilling programs, and geological interpretation across both near mine and regional tenements.
This role offers strong exposure to exploration strategy, data analysis and reporting, with a focus on delivering safe, efficient and well executed programs.
About You
You are a motivated and curious geologist with a passion for discovery and a proactive, analytical mindset. You enjoy working across teams, challenging ideas, and contributing to exploration outcomes.
You will bring:
- A degree in Geology or Earth Science
- 2–5+ years’ experience in exploration or mining geology
- Experience with drilling, logging and geological data interpretation
- Exposure to software such as Leapfrog or QGIS
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A commitment to safety, environmental standards and continuous improvement
- A current manual driver’s licence
