About The Role
The Fuel and Lube Technician is responsible for the safe and reliable operation and basic maintenance of Cote Gold's Fuel and Lube Truck. The Fuel and Lube Technicians work collaboratively with the team to deliver execution of the integrated plan and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe fueling of mining equipment following established procedures, including LOTO requirements
- Conduct equipment inspections to identify leaks, wear, damage, overheating, and abnormal conditions
- Lubricate equipment according to defined procedures and ensure proper functioning of automatic lubrication systems
- Take oil and fluid samples as required to support predictive and preventive maintenance programs
- Operate and maintain the fuel and lube truck, including pre-operational checks and fluid level management
- Monitor and inspect lubrication systems (injectors, lines) to ensure proper performance and prevent failures or hazards
- Assist with preventive maintenance activities, including oil and filter changes and system upkeep
- Follow contamination control best practices and ensure proper fuel and lubricant cleanliness, including maintaining storage tanks and preventing spills.
Job Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
- Class G Driving License.

Relevant Experience
- 6 months of commercial vehicle operation or equivalent.
- Equipment maintenance experience is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $63,000 - $94,500 + Bonus
