Reporting directly to the General Manager - Mining, you will oversee a workforce of 350+ personnel across multiple scopes of work, with significant opportunity for continued growth as our South Australian operations expand.
This role is ideal for a results‑driven leader who thrives on building high‑performing teams, strengthening client relationships, and delivering operational excellence in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
What You'll Lead
- Full operational oversight of the Olympic Dam and SMAD projects
- Leadership of a large, diverse workforce across multiple mining disciplines
- Delivery of safety, production, cost, and quality outcomes
- Development of frontline leaders and emerging talent
- Strong client engagement and relationship management
- Continuous improvement across systems, processes, and performance
What We're Looking For
- A proven operations leader within underground mining
- Demonstrated capability managing large teams and multi‑scope projects
- A people‑focused leadership style with a passion for developing others
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering results
- Ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and drive positive culture
