Talamore Mining is a Vancouver-based exploration and development
company advancing base and precious metals projects across the Americas. Our
flagship asset, the 100%-owned Coffee Gold Project in Canada’s Yukon Territory,
is a high-quality gold project progressing through final permitting and
engineering in preparation for a construction decision. Alongside Coffee, Talamore
Mining maintains a portfolio of copper and gold assets in Chile and Mexico,

Role Purpose
The Site Services Lead Hand Equipment
Operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment and the
day-to-day coordination of site services crews supporting construction,
maintenance, logistics, and camp infrastructure activities at the Coffee
Project. This position provides frontline leadership, promotes a strong safety
culture, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company
standards.
Role Accountabilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma
or equivalent.
- Valid driver's
license (often Class 5, Class 3,
Class 1, CDL, or equivalent, depending on jurisdiction).
- Heavy equipment
operator certification or demonstrated experience.
- Experience operating excavators, loaders, graders, dozers, skid steers, telehandlers, water trucks, Man Lift, Kubota, 935 Loader, Rock Tucks, and other mobile equipment commonly used in mining and construction environments.
- Previous leadership,
lead hand, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of
equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read site
plans, drawings, and work orders.
- Effective
communication and team leadership skills.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years
operating heavy equipment.
- Minimum 2-5 years in
a Lead
Hand, Crew Lead, or supervisory experience required
- Experience in mining,
heavy civil construction, or remote projects.
- Demonstrated commitment to
health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
- Ensure compliance
with site safety standards.
- Conduct workplace
inspections.
- Participate in safety
leadership initiatives.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely
operate heavy and light mobile equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to sit,
stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift,
carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform
physically demanding work in outdoor environments and varying terrain.
- Ability to work
safely in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow,
ice, dust, and reduced visibility.
- Ability to meet
site medical and fitness-for-duty requirements.
Work Location & Conditions
- Location: Coffee Creek Project
- Yukon Territories, Canada
- Remote based role with a preference for Yukon based candidates
- Rotational work schedule (2 weeks on and off – 12 hour days)
Expected Compensation
- $90,000 - $110,000 per year
