Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To build Surface infrastructure and supervise contractors according to Kamoa standards for construction activities. This role manages all contractors involved on multiple sites to establish and build the required infrastructure according to the project scope.
You will have the following:
- Must have a National Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction/building projects, preferably within environments with tight deadlines.
- At least 5 years’ experience in earthworks is essential.
- Proven track record with relevant experience in similar projects; experience working in African countries will be highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and/or Swahili will be considered highly advantageous.

Technical Skills should include:
- Knowledge on SANS Specifications especially on Earthwork & Civils
- Knowledge in Microsoft Project
- QA/QC

- Manage a project from build to commissioning
- Plan work with contractors to ensure timeous delivery
- Supervise project delivery through enabling and supporting contractors

- Finance and reporting- Cost efficiencies and On-time reporting
- People- Progress against development plans and Performance plans and feedback

- HSEQ Implement the HSEQ plan for the Business area-integrate HSEQ into all work processes
- Manage Reporting- Adhere to and improve reporting processes for the area of responsibility and meet Quality Assurance standards and participate in audits
