Senior Electrical Commissioning Manager – Mission-Critical Projects!

As their project portfolio continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities from planning through to project handover.

As Senior Electrical Commissioning Manager, you will take ownership of the electrical commissioning strategy across major projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and working closely with clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of electrical commissioning across large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and manage commissioning schedules, procedures, and project documentation.
- Coordinate commissioning activities with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and client representatives.
- Oversee electrical testing, inspection, energisation, and system validation.
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage commissioning teams and specialist subcontractors across multiple project phases.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 10–15 years of electrical commissioning experience, ideally within data centres, industrial facilities, utilities, power generation, or other mission-critical environments.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical power systems, testing procedures, commissioning methodologies, and system integration.
- Experience leading commissioning teams on large, complex construction projects.
- Proven background in electrical installation and/or maintenance across multiple electrical systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, including NETA ATS/MTS, NEC, NFPA 70E.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
