Responsibilities
- Prepare piping designs, pipe rack, hot small-bore piping, hot large bore piping and critical systems including layout, design sketches, isometrics, general arrangement (plot plan), piping arrangement, etc
- Develop 3D model design, drafting (AutoCAD and Smart Plant P&ID) and create deliverables
- Review shop drawings and provide detailed feedback and mark-ups for improvements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery
- Propose design solutions, considering practical implications and optimal methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in piping design within the Power, Oil and Gas or Industrial projects
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software SmartPlant3D
- Knowledge of relevant piping standards (ASME, API) and best practices
- Experience in performing detailed engineering calculations and generating design documentation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Fluency in English (Advanced)
