Job Responsibilities

Global Investment Strategy Planning & Execution: Conduct in-depth research on global mining market trends, policies & regulations, and resource distribution. Align with the company’s development strategy to formulate and optimize its international investment strategy and long-term development plan, clarifying investment directions and priority regions.
Overseas Mining Project Evaluation & Decision Support: Lead or participate in the screening, due diligence, feasibility study, and investment decision-making of overseas mining projects. Organize professional teams to conduct comprehensive assessments covering resource reserves, mining technologies, market prospects, financial status, and legal compliance. Prepare detailed investment analysis reports and feasibility studies to provide accurate, reliable decision-making references for senior management.
End-to-End Management of Overseas Investment Projects: Oversee the full lifecycle of overseas investment projects, including initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring on-schedule progress and achievement of investment objectives. Coordinate internal resources across departments (e.g., geological technology, engineering, finance, legal) to facilitate smooth project implementation. Proactively identify and resolve issues and risks during execution, and develop effective response measures.
Business Negotiations & Partnership Management: Represent the company in high-level business negotiations with overseas governments, mining enterprises, financial institutions, and partners. Negotiate key commercial terms such as cooperation models, equity structures, resource rights, transaction clauses, and tax policies to secure favorable conditions and reach win-win agreements.
Global Partnership Expansion: Build an extensive network of industry connections and explore potential investment opportunities. Enhance the company’s brand influence in the global mining sector by participating in international mining exhibitions, industry forums, and business exchanges. Seek strategic cooperation with leading international mining companies and upstream/downstream enterprises to achieve resource sharing, complementary advantages, and collaborative development.
Maintenance of Existing Partnerships: Sustain long-term, stable relationships with existing overseas partners through regular communication. Resolve cooperation-related issues promptly to ensure project continuity, track partners’ operational performance and market dynamics, evaluate cooperation effectiveness, and adjust strategies to expand cooperation scope and depth.
Financial Management for Overseas Projects: Participate in budget formulation and fund planning for overseas investment projects, monitoring fund utilization to ensure efficiency and rationality. Establish a robust financial risk early warning mechanism to monitor liquidity, exchange rate, and interest rate risks, and develop preventive measures to safeguard investment capital.
Policy & Regulatory Compliance: Monitor global updates on mining policies, tax regulations, environmental requirements, and labor laws. Collect, analyze, and provide regulatory insights for overseas investment decisions and project operations. Assess the impact of regulatory changes on overseas business and develop strategies to ensure full compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in finance, economics, international trade, business administration, mining engineering, geological resources & engineering, or related fields. Overseas study experience or degrees from internationally renowned universities are preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience in reputable investment institutions, with expertise in overseas mining investment, project management, and business operations. Familiarity with international mining market rules and investment environments. Experience leading or participating in large-scale overseas mining projects is highly advantageous.
Proficiency in international business negotiation techniques, with exceptional communication and coordination skills to operate effectively in complex international environments.
Strong expertise in financial analysis, project financing, and risk management, with the ability to apply financial tools for economic evaluation of investment projects.
Familiarity with international investment laws, regulations, and conventions, with a strong awareness of legal risk prevention and compliance management capabilities.
Excellent English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, writing) for professional communication, negotiations, and report drafting. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Portuguese) is advantageous for target investment regions.
Strong organizational, coordination, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to make sound judgments in dynamic environments.
Cross-cultural adaptability, with in-depth understanding and respect for diverse cultures. Ability to work and live in multicultural settings; long-term overseas work or living experience is preferred.
Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and teamwork spirit, with a proactive work attitude. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to frequent domestic and international business travel. Sharp market insight and innovative thinking to explore new business opportunities and partnerships.
