Project Administration Assistant
Reporting to the site Construction Management team, the Project Admin will provide assistance with construction management and project control functions with a wide range important activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting range of project leaders in progress management of project.
- Assisting Safety Department with tracking contractor hours.
- Database entry for behaviour based safety event tracker.
- Support the NORCAT online onboarding system
- Support priority site logistics, camp booking and charter flight bookings
- Work with Project Controls Team to track and report on the project progress and contractor daily charges.
- Compiling and updating complex Excel spreadsheets to monitor progress of contracts.
- Reconciling invoice data per existing contracts.
- PPE control, ordering and issuance
- Arrange vehicle bookings and airport drop offs
- Arrange VIP bookings and travel arrangements
- Other miscellaneous tasks as required.
The schedule for this position is based in a camp operation working on a rotational schedule with flights provided
Experience
Preferred
- 1 – 2 years project work experience
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
- Mining or heavy industrial construction experience considered an asset
- An ability to work remotely on occasion and a strong commitment to working in a safe, socially responsible manner
- Ability and willingness to work different site based schedules based on on project needs
