Construction Project Engineer – HVAC
Job Description
Coordinate the daily construction activities at the project site with the objective of ensuring all activities comply with the project quality plan, specifications and site program. Plans the activities in order to effectively use resources to meet the construction program. Reviews the specification drawing to resolve any discrepancies or conflicts. Monitors materials, equipment and manpower on site in order to ensure that the appropriate materials are available to meet the construction program timing.
An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of the job area, typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Your responsibilities
• Technical deliveries (including Requirement specifications, BOQ, load list, etc.) to the tender/project/procurement team of the HVAC System
• Knowing the main circuit apparatus requirements in HVDC or high voltage areas is a merit.
• Familiar with understanding the Client’s Technical Specifications and ensuring the HVAC system meets these, as well as converter equipment requirements.
• Have knowledge in building services (auxiliary systems) and interfaces with buildings
• Reviewing electrical and mechanical design, drawings and documents that are related to the HVAC system
• Coordinating the end delivery of the HVAC System and performing end-customer training for the HVAC system.
• Performing site inspection/commissioning and providing site support
Your background
• Educational background within the heat transfer and fluid mechanics field (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
• Several years of working experience within the design of heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
• Experience with HVDC main circuit apparatus requirements is an advantage.
• Being familiar with the control of the HVAC system

• As you will be part of a global business, fluency in German and English is required, written and spoken alike.
•You will work in the office in Mannheim approximately 2 days per week, further 3 days you can choose within DE. 35 h/week is the regular work time.
