Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Site-Based Human Resources professional, located in Brisbane City, QLD. The role involves managing day-to-day HR functions at the site, including recruitment processes, employee relations, training and development initiatives, and compliance with company policies and labor laws. The position also demands close collaboration with managers to implement HR strategies, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure employee engagement. Additionally, the role encompasses performance management support and providing guidance to employees on HR-related matters.
Qualifications
- Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, and workforce planning
- Proficiency in employee relations, conflict resolution, and maintaining workplace compliance
- Knowledge of training and development practices, including facilitating learning programs
- Skills in HR policy implementation, performance management, and organizational development
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a site-based, team-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field
- Experience in mining or heavy industry sectors is a plus
