Specialist Network (Rio Tinto Services Inc., Boron, CA)
Configure, install, and maintain computer networks, routers, switches, WLAN Controllers, and other network hardware. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot, identify and remediate issues affecting network function. Maintains DMZ segregation of Production Control Network from Business network. Secures network through access policy enforcement. Collaborates with departments to develop connectivity solutions that meet the business needs. Supports cyber security through monitoring of suspicious activity, identification of threats, and coordinating with global team for addressing breaches. Assist network architects in design, implementation, and management of network growth.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, $148,096.00 per year.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Communication Engineering, Information Systems & Technology or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Communication Engineering, Information Systems & Technology or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
Must have 3 years of experience in
- WireShark;
- Putty; and,
- SolarWinds.
Must have 2 years of experience in
- Mining industry;
- Cisco WiFi Analyzer; and,
- Visio.
Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.
