About The Role
We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, implement best practices, and ensure adherence to quality standards. While working, you’ll report to the Superintendent, and your duties will include
- Monitoring working practices and procedures to keep employees safe.
- Providing directions to employees in accordance with production plans and business needs to meet customer requirements.
- Providing leadership and setting expected goals through team building and planning.
- Interfacing with planners and fellow supervisors to keep improving our processes.
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and soliciting input from other team members.
- Supervising work activities on night shifts and weekends.
What You’ll Bring
- Your commitment to keep each other safe.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A valid state driver’s license.
- 2+ years of experience supervising a team.
- Knowledge of production or manufacturing equipment that includes troubleshooting.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, operations, maintenance or another related field.
- Skills in leadership and working with a unionized workforce.
- Computer skills in SAP and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations.
