We are looking for a
Tradesperson Mechanical with experience in Fitting & Welding to join our
Cell Repair Workshop at New Zealand’s Aluminium Smelter. Every hour of every shift, your safety and wellbeing is our number one priority. We do the work only if it is safe, and we invest to make sure every member of the team has the quality tools they need to do their job.

Working Shift Roster 3 (
Mon to Fri 8am to 4pm then Mon to Fri 4pm to 12am) you’ll follow a structured process to optimise preventative maintenance tactics and minimise overall business costs. With a demonstrated commitment to improving safety, cost and productivity, responsibilities include
- Accountability for the overhaul and repair of Pot Cell Superstructures and Shells along with the maintenance and repair of associated equipment.
- Promote and identify HSE opportunities to improve equipment, processes and behaviours
