Key Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvements in safety and training across departments
- Ensure compliance with Redpath’s Management Operating Procedures (MOPs)
- Coordinate training needs analysis and maintain documentation
- Oversee environmental compliance and workplace inspections
- Manage rehabilitation and return‑to‑work programs
- Deliver risk assessment and JSA training
- Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Support incident investigations and reporting
- Advise management on WHS legislation
- Contribute to roster change discussions and staff meetings
About You
- Proven experience in a senior safety role within mining
- Certificate IV in OHS (mandatory); Training & Assessment (beneficial)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- In‑depth knowledge of WHS and Workers’ Compensation legislation
- ICAM qualifications highly regarded
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Detail‑oriented with a passion for continuous improvement
